Private residential commissions,
since 1984.
For forty years, the Clout family has designed residences for families who value stillness, craft, and a considered regard for place. The practice is now in its second generation.
Lifestyle Design
Our signature discipline. We design a residence end-to-end: its building design, its interior, and the rhythms of how a house is actually lived in. Forty years on, it remains the way we work.
One of one
Every residence is a complete work, resolved to the finest detail. No two are the same.
What we do
Four disciplines, one practice — from the first idea to the finished residence.
Building Design & Documentation
From siting and form to the complete set of drawings required to build.
Interior Design
Considered to the finest detail: joinery, furniture, lighting and finish, and how each room is meant to feel.
Construction Supervision
Through the build, we stay involved to protect the integrity of the design, alongside your chosen builder.
Recognised across four decades by the Housing Industry Association, the Building Designers Association, and the National Design Awards. Recognition →
